Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has gained a following in the world of television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother, were both born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. In no time she made the move to Texas where she pursued a education in physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for very long, and she soon relocated into Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of parts as an actor, including commercials and local film productions. It was there that she discovered her passion for the art of acting despite her small role. In 2001, she emigrated to New York where her first character was on All My Children's daytime soap as Rosa Santos. Through the early part of 2000, she had minor roles on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. She was cast in her first big role in 2004's miniscule drama The Mountain. The character was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to appear alongside a number of top TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. The role she played was A.D.A. in Law & Order which was where she had the best performance in the year 2006. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was featured in 85 episodes. Her character then flocked to the short-lived sequel Law & Order: LA. The character she played earned De La Garza various nominations like Best Supporting Actress - Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards and even multiple ALMA Award noms. In addition, the National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her with the Impact Award, which is presented to outstanding performers in the drama TV series. De La Garza was then chosen to play a regular character in CSI Miami. The role was Marisol Delko, the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. She played Dr. Lena Solis, she appeared in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. The show lasted for two seasons before it was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress is Italian and has a younger brother Cory. She grew up in a conservative, religious family. Milano's first professional experience began at seven, when her babysitter took on an audition. Milano was among four girls chosen from more than 1,000 aspirants. Milano appeared in advertisements in both Broadway and on TV, including the American musical version in the form of Jane Eyre.
