Alana De La Garza has gained a following in the world of television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother, were both born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. In no time she made the move to Texas where she pursued a education in physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for very long, and she soon relocated into Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of parts as an actor, including commercials and local film productions. It was there that she discovered her passion for the art of acting despite her small role. In 2001, she emigrated to New York where her first character was on All My Children's daytime soap as Rosa Santos. Through the early part of 2000, she had minor roles on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. She was cast in her first big role in 2004's miniscule drama The Mountain.
